Westmarket is located in the Osdorpplein shopping area in the Amsterdam Nieuw-West neighbourhood. Opening in 2017, the former Shoperade has been transformed into a shopping centre with a contemporary and industrial look and feel about it. The concept is unique: visitors can take a trip and sample the tastes of the entire world. Westmarket consists of an attractive food court, smaller multicultural shops operated by local entrepreneurs, and a large department store, TK Maxx, the well-known American discount chain. As a result, in a short space of time, Westmarket has become the place to be for international cuisine and indoor shopping in the Amsterdam Nieuw-West neighbourhood.
