Shopping and art go hand in hand at Winkelcentrum Gelderlandplein. In and around Gelderlandplein, you will find works of art by internationally renowned artists such as Kaws, Julian Opie and Ai WeiWei. These works spark the imagination, make us laugh, inspire, comfort, challenge and can even change our outlook on life. They have the power to touch us in ways that are hard to put into words.

And yet it’s also nice to learn more about the artists, the meaning of their work or their sources of inspiration. From now on, you can not only view the art at Gelderlandplein, but you can also learn more about it with the Art Audio Tour.

Each step in the Art Audio Tour shows you something new and each story broadens your view. All the pieces of art are provided with a QR code that you can scan to listen to fascinating background stories about the work directly via your phone.

The works of art in Gelderlandplein form a permanent collection that can be admired daily during the shopping centre’s opening hours. The art was selected by Kroonenberg Groep – owner of the shopping center – in collaboration with art gallery REFLEX in Amsterdam.
