New tenants for Gelderlandplein
Kroonenberg Groep has reached a consensus with a number of new tenants on long-term leases on Gelderlandplein.
Petit Bateau, Siebel Juweliers, Hunkemöller and Sissy Boy have all chosen Gelderlandplein as the ideal location in which to add their next stores. The new tenants bring their collections of fashion, jewellery and interior design to complement the total retail picture of the shopping centre.
Recently, as part of their mission to add more restaurants and cafes to Gelderlandplein, the Kroonenberg Group also signed deals with Grizzl, Tanuki and Saigon. Grizzl's concept is designed around the idea of ‘making Fast Food Good Food’, and focuses on sustainable sourcing of simple and wholesome food. It will be opening its doors in mid-June. Tanuki is a Japanese cuisine-based restaurant, and Saigon features Vietnamese food. They will both be opening in the new pavilion to be built at the Willem van Weldammelaan entrance.
Kroonenberg Groep is carrying out a dramatic renovation of the Gelderlandplein shopping centre in cooperation with Multi Vastgoed. Designer of the renovation is the Rijnboutt architecture agency. At this point, work on the 2nd phase has been completed and the 3rd and final phase has been started. Meanwhile, the redevelopment of the former office complex De Veldert into the Elements longstay hotel is proceeding apace.
