Primark buys building at Vestdijk 2 in Eindhoven
Kroonenberg Groep has sold its building located at Vestdijk 2 / Hermanus Boexstraat 1 to Primark Netherlands B.V. Kroonenberg Groep purchased the building in 2008, when it was still part of the Phillips pension fund’s retail portfolio. The building has a lettable floor area of approximately 7350 m² divided over 5 floors and a basement.
Primark is an Irish fashion department store, which currently has branches in the Netherlands in the cities of Rotterdam, Zaandam and Hoofddorp. Vestdijk 2 is a prominently located corner building opposite Eindhoven’s railway station and at the top of the city’s main shopping street. Kroonenberg Groep will deliver the building to Primark unfurnished and they will refurbish it before opening one of their outlets there.
Primark was represented in the sale by CBRE and Allen & Overy, while Houthoff Buruma and Kokelenberg & Ouwehand acted on behalf of Kroonenberg Groep.
