Prowinko and Kroonenberg Groep lease space to Primark in De Markthof in Hoofddorp
Prowinko and Kroonenberg Groep, who are realizing the new Markthof in Hoofddorp, have reached agreement with Primark.
Building work is in full swing on the site of the former shopping centre De Markthof, and the contours of the new Markthof are now clearly taking shape.
The retail units in De Markthof will be located on the ground floor and on the 1st floor, and have a total surface area of approximately 13,000 m2. The public car park, with approximately 180 parking spaces, is located on the 2nd floor. This car park will be accessed from Kruisweg. Above this, 49 apartments will be created, with a projected 70 dedicated parking spaces, as well as a unique office space measuring approximately 2,000 m2.
The architecture of the office space in particular will be a real landmark in Hoofddorp. The office space has a very good parking ratio. Partial lease of these offices is possible.
Completion of the car park, as well as of the homes, is expected in April 2011.
Primark has leased a space on the ground floor of approximately 1,600 m2 and approximately 2,900 m2 on the 1st floor. The entrance will be on Marktlaan.
CB Richard Ellis acted for the lessee.
Agreements had already been reached with Hennes & Mauritz, Sting, Nelson Schoenen, Ecco, Cook & Co, Scapino, Febo, Zeeman and Chinese restaurant Jasmin at an earlier stage.
De Markthof is an investment by Kroonenberg Groep and Prowinko. Architecten Cie took care of the architecture. HB Kroese Paternotte from Amsterdam and IVN from The Hague were responsible for letting the retail units. Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for letting the office space.
