Multi sells Hardenberg development
On 11 September, 2006 Multi Vastgoed and Kroonenberg Groep signed an agreement for the purchase of the Hardenberg town-center development. A declaration of intent had already been signed at the international real-estate conference Mipim in March of this year.
The total investment in the project is around €28m. The official act symbolically marking the start of construction will take place in early November.
The Centrumplan development will open in the spring of 2008.
Centrumplan Hardenberg, which is being developed by Multi Vastgoed in close cooperation with the Municipality of Hardenberg, consists of three buildings with approximately 8,000 m2 retail, 900 m2 commercial facilities, 500 parking spaces and around 135 apartments for sale and to let (which are not part of the sale).
The Municipality of Hardenberg is responsible for the new public land, which includes an impressive market square.
With the realization of the plan, Multi is providing an important boost to the Hardenberg town center.
Appelhoven Vastgoedadviseurs advised Kroonenberg Groep regarding the transaction.
The design is by T+T Design, and the plan’s chief architect is Mei Architecten. OPL Architecten is responsible for the elaboration of the architecture of the buildings.
