New owners for Markthof shopping center in Hoofddorp
The Markthof shopping center has been taken over by Prowinko Nederland and Kroonenberg Groep. This will go into effect as of 1 June 2005.
The intention is to redevelop the shopping center. The first meeting with the Municipality has already taken place, so that a study for the redevelopment can be started.
The shopping center contains around 8,000 m2 of retail space, and includes approximately 48 retail units.
The estate agents involved in the transaction were Bessem & Partner and Inter Vastgoed Nederland.
Both companies have extensive experience with shopping centers. Prowinko Nederland was involved in De Klanderij shopping center in Enschede and is the owner of the Zilverpand center in Brugge (Belgium). Kroonenberg Groep has redeveloped Hoogvliet in Rotterdam-Hoogvliet and is the owner of the Hilvertshof shopping center in Hilversum, among others.
Kroonenberg Groep and Prowinko Nederland have previously successfully collaborated on the redeveloped Angelslo shopping center in Emmen. Both companies are established in Amsterdam.
