Kroonenberg Groep acquires De Keyserstroom shopping center in Meppel
Kroonenberg Groep has recently added De Keyserstroom shopping center, developed by Volker Wessels, to its investment portfolio. The acquisition gives further shape to Kroonenberg Groep’s strategy of acquiring high quality long-term leased properties at good locations.
De Keyserstroom shopping center has a lettable area of around 8195 m². Retailers in the center include Vroom & Dreesmann, Van Woensel, Edah, Van Haren Schoenen, Kruidvat, Team Kapsalon, Zeeman Textielsuper, Phone House, D-Reizen, Show Pain and Calzoni Modes.
The center has its own parking facility with around 300 parking places. The opening of the center also provides for the extra parking requirement of the Municipality of Meppel.
De Keyserstroom was mainly known around Meppel for the striking spiral design of the access to its garage, which during its construction was always referred to as the ‘Twister’.
The transaction was completed due to the intermediation of Bessem & Partners of Amsterdam.
